Sharjah just keeps advancing!
Sharjah Taxi announces the launch of this one-of-a-kind smart taxi on Thursday! Its equipped with a lot of new artificial intelligence features to help with operations and safety!
The smart taxi, which is equipped with sensors, cameras, and a mobile data unit that is linked to an integrated system, was launched with the main objective of utilising artificial intelligence services for use in vehicle operations and safety. The authority has yet to announce a date for the taxis to be introduced in the Emirate.
This new system will help managing the flow of traffic, make it easier to access key places, monitor driver behavior, and reduce manipulations. This will help the number of trips and also reduce the amount of kilometres wasted which will help rude the amount of road accidents that occur and environment pollution.
