Gshar is a store that has been home to artists for more than three years and is a branch of Shurooq (Sharjah Investment and Development Authority)
When they first opened their doors, their goal was to support local artists and artwork related to the UAE’s rich culture; now, they want to make room for artists from all over the world to showcase their own beauty, diversity, and creativity.
They are looking for homegrown talent, whether it is an Emirati artist or an expat, with whom they can collaborate, showcase, and sell their work. They simply want to support artists! How wholesome!
They’ve got work from Emirati designers like Fatma Almulla, Wafa Ibrahim and Ayesha Al Hemrani!
Aside from art, they also sell a unique selection of local brands such as clothing, accessories, homeware, stationary, gift items, and pop culture knickknacks!
