Earlier today, Sharjah Sports Council in collaboration with Jam Sports Academy held the opening ceremony of the Sharjah International Youth Basketball Tournament at the Khorfakkan Amphitheater in honour to welcome the basketball teams who are here to participate in the tournament.
The championship is being hosted from 27th to 30th December with the participation of 350 young basketball players from 23 teams representing 7 different countries: the UAE, Egypt, Lebanon, India, Jordan and Spain and Serbia.
The matches will be held over four days in the halls of Khorfakkan Sports Clubs, Khorfakkan for the Disabled, University of Sharjah and the Kalba Sports Club Hall.
