Summer Transfer Confirmed: Brazilian Winger Bernard Leaves Everton for Sharjah FC

Big pockets things

Summer is when football fans get the most shocking transfer news of the players as most of the time, it is very unexpected and random.. just like this one!

The highest-earning player of Everton FC has left the club and decided to sign a two-year deal with one of UAE’s biggest football clubs, Sharjah FC for a whooping AED 51. 4 million (USD 14m) in wages.

Bernard joined Everton on a free transfer in 2018, after his deal with the Ukranian club Shakhtar Donsetk expired – Though, he still has one more year left on his four-year deal with Everton, he was not able to show enough consistency to be part of the club’s managers plan for the new season and struggled to live up to the club’s expectations.

Although, Bernard’s departure from his previous club wasn’t surprising, it is an exciting news for Sharjah FC and their fans to be signing a player at his calibre.
