Bernard joined Everton on a free transfer in 2018, after his deal with the Ukranian club Shakhtar Donsetk expired – Though, he still has one more year left on his four-year deal with Everton, he was not able to show enough consistency to be part of the club’s managers plan for the new season and struggled to live up to the club’s expectations.
Although, Bernard’s departure from his previous club wasn’t surprising, it is an exciting news for Sharjah FC and their fans to be signing a player at his calibre.
