Restaurants in UAE Will Soon Have Robotic Chefs Cooking Your Meals

Restaurants in the UAE will soon have robots cooking up your meals, starting with Dubai Mall!

Americana Restaurant, the operator of the much-beloved fast-food chains including KFC, Pizza Hut and Hardees in the Middle East as well as North America has teamed up with Miso Robotics to bring robotic chefs into UAE’s culinary stations.

Flippy 2, a robotic arm that uses machine learning and artificial intelligence, will be tested at the Wimpy restaurant in Dubai Mall real soon. It is also customisable in order to perform a range of cooking tasks automatically according to the restaurant’s needs.

Whether it’s working an entire fry station or washing the dishes, Flippy 2 never gets tired or gets any break hence installing it will enhance these restaurants’ food production rather quickly.
