The World’s First Metaverse Customer Service Center Opens in Dubai!

The Future is Here!

If you don’t know what ‘Metaverse’ is yet – Metaverse is basically a digital version of the real world, which was created by billionaire companies such as Facebook by investing billions of dollars and operated using haptic suits, wearables and VR goggles rapidly improving,

Though the term was first generated in 1992 by a sci-fi writer, Neal Stephenson who used the word ‘metaverse’ to describe a 3D virtual space and as of 2022, the metaverse is created using different technologies like Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, cryptocurrency, and the Internet.

Dubai was very quick to grab the opportunity and become the world’s first Metaverse customer service centre by launching it at the Emirates’ Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP).

MOHAP launched this new version of customer service at the Arab Health Medlab Middle East Exhibition and Congress 2022, where they further explained how this new virtual service will address customer needs in three-dimensional spaces in an easy way while enjoying a digital and interactive sensory experience.

The new offering will fulfil all related queries, services, and tasks without the customers visiting a physical customer happiness centre.

The new technology also provides an opportunity for customers to join the MetaHealth space and move from their current location to the Ministry’s Virtual Customer Happiness Centre without actually crossing the distance between the two areas. Customers, then, can request information, submit documents, pay fees and more, with the real faces of users being displayed in the virtual room instead of avatars.
