Enjoy Sharjah Film Festival’s Opening Ceremony on Friday!

It’s almost here! The opening of Sharjah Film Platform 4 is taking place this Friday, November 9th. This film festival will feature 50 short and feature-length films in the three different genres – narrative, documentary and experimental.

Don’t worry, there’s so much more for you to enjoy! SFP4 will also include award-winning filmmakers to lead a public programme of talks and masterclasses along with the SFP Industry Hub, which is an industry-focused professional programme that supports the production and distribution of films.

What was known as a marketplace for traders from Persia, India and Bedouin tribes is completely transformed into an air-conditioned souq selling everything from pearl chests, copper coffee pots to abayas, jewellery, perfumes/ oud and more! And yes, they also have a cafe and a popular halwa shop for you to enjoy some traditional Arabic delicacies.
