Bait Al Shamsi Nights Programme is back with interactive workshops led by artists working within a broad range of visual and performing arts as well as exciting performances for adults and children of all ages and abilities.
They offer various interactive workshops and music performances suitable for people of all ages; Participants can use everyday objects to create music, make collages, try capoeira, learn traditional Palestinian embroidery techniques, express their emotions by painting to music, and so much more!
Here is the list of workshops being held on February 25th, Friday:
- Painting to Music:
For all ages and families! 6PM-8PM. - Poetry and Prose:
For youth and adults! 6PM-8PM. - Let’s Write Together! :
Workshop for children led by Shaikha Al Mutairi! 6PM-8PM. - Oud Performance:
For all ages! Join Said Alali, a talented Emirati singer, composer and oud player to enjoy traditional folk music at 8PM-9PM.
The interesting news about this is that all events are free and open to the public; Sessions will be conducted in English and/or Arabic to make the experience more enjoyable for everyone!
The programme is being held in the heritage venue Bait Obaid Al Shamsi in Arts Square, every Friday and Saturday during February and March from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
