Kayaking
Kayaking is just one of those activities that makes the best out of the weather and its apparently, one of the most popular water sports among family and friends in Sharjah.
There are multiple spots you can go kayaking here such as:
- Al Khan Public Beach
- Khor Kalba Mangroves
- Khorfakkan Beach
- Ar Rufaysah Dam, Khorfakkan
Would really recommend paddling through the mangroves if you’re looking for more adventurous and wildlife things to do in Sharjah.
Quad Biking
Quad biking is always an unforgettable experience when you ride it for the first time and it’s one of the most popular activities to try out during Sharjah’s winter.

Horse Riding
Honestly, if you haven’t tried horse riding yet then what have you been doing?
The love for horses is deeply entrenched in the local and Emirati culture and this sport goes way back in UAE’s history. We highly recommend giving horseback riding a go with Discover Mleiha’s unique experiences.
Padel at Padel Arena
Padel is a sport that’s been around for some time, but it’s been getting a lot of attention around the Middle East recently. A lot of new padel companies have opened up in Sharjah, but Padel Arena was the first indoor padel club in the emirate! With air-conditioned and private facilities available, Padel Arena is definitely a go-to.
Shooting At Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club
No better way to test your rifle skills at the shooting range in Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club! Another popular thing to do among both locals and tourists.
