Finally!
Many folks from UAE have been patiently waiting for travel rules to ease down as they make their way to the UK and especially since it’s the start of a new academic semester, students would be relieved to hear this.
UAE nationals and residents vaccinated with UK’s approved vaccinations will be exempt from quarantine when arriving at the UK, starting October 4th. This is after the UK announced their plans to remove Amber list from travel rules, only keeping a green and red travel system.
Delighted that international travel is opening up.

We are finalising arrangements with UAE to include their nationals and residents in our plans to open up to the fully vaccinated from other countries from 4 October https://t.co/XEQtNxsE6r
Here is a list of UK’s approved vaccinations:
- Moderna vaccine
- Oxford/Astrazeneca vaccine
- Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine
- Janssen vaccine ( to be available later this year in the UK)
If you’re planning to travel to the United Kingdom soon and have not been vaccinated yet, you can register with the NHS or find out more details on how to get the vaccine in the UK HERE!
Safe Travels!
