Hong Kong says it will give away 500,000 airline tickets, worth HK$2 billion, or $254.8 million, to tourists worldwide! This is in line with the city’s efforts to recover tourism in the region after the pandemic. So how can you get a free ticket to Hong Kong? The airport authority has said it will start distributing the tickets and rolling out advertisement campaigns once the government announces it will remove all COVID-19 restrictions for inbound travellers!
As per BBC, the free tickets bought to support Hong Kong airlines during the pandemic will be distributed next year to inbound and outbound travellers by the city’s airport authority!
