The COVID-19 cases have eased down a bit, and the UAE ministry has issued new guidelines for traveling, advising travelers what they should do before, during, and after their travel!
Before traveling
- Check the Covid-19 (situation) in areas where a new (variant) is spreading, and only travel if absolutely necessary.
- Individuals who are vulnerable, such as the elderly, diabetics, and those with cardiovascular diseases, should avoid traveling to areas where the virus is spreading.
- Complete the vaccine’s recommended doses.
During traveling
- Wash your hands frequently (with soap and water or sanitisers with 70 per cent alcohol)
- Keep your physical distance from others.
- Avoid congested areas.
- If you feel ill, see your doctor right away.
- Follow the Covid-19 guidelines for travel and gatherings in your area.
After traveling:
- Perform a PCR test to ensure your safety and to prevent the virus from spreading.
