Here’s how Expo 2020 Dubai’s UAE Pavilion is Honoring Emirati Women on International Women’s Day!

How beautiful!

International Women's Day: 'Emirati Faces' to show portraits of UAE women at Expo 2020 Dubai | Expo 2020 – Gulf News

To commemorate International Women’s Day and as part of the UAE Gender Balance Council’s (UAEGBC) ‘UAE’s Women Face Print’ exhibition, the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai will showcase 30 photographs of Emirati women.

A painting of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum is at the centre of the exhibition.

The exhibition is an accumulation of photographs focusing on women, with the goal of bringing to light the ways of life in the emirates prior to the creation of the union.

Each face has a story to tell: A woman whose husband has gone into the long nights of diving and fishing; a girl weaving wool as if she were weaving her own fantasies; a woman cooking with love and passion above all else; and a girl delighted with her new henna designs.

It also represents the significant effort of the UAE’s founding fathers towards equality and empowering women in all aspects of life, particularly the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s strong support.

It’s a perfect and beautiful way of showing support and appreciation to all the Emirati women out there for International Women’s Day from the UAE pavilion!

We love the UAE!
