UAE is Going On A Mission to Bring Space Tourism to The Emirates With Jeff Bezos’ Help!


UAE have confirmed their partnership with Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin with the ambition to set up a spaceport in the UAE desert for suborbital flights

Earlier, there were rumours emerging stating Jeff Bezos was had an eye on UAE for a potential spaceport location; Which was then reportedly discussed between UAE’s Minister of Economy, Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri and Blue Origin’s Vice President Brent Sherwood at the International Astronautical Congress taking place in Dubai. 

This collaboration aligns with UAE’s ambition for economic development through boosting space tourism. This would establish an open economic ecosystem, attracting investments to the country along with boosting sustainable development.

AzurX, a private Dubai-based company will be working alongside Blue Origin as UAE’s strategic advisor, with the purpose to provide the space tourism company with localisation strategy in the UAE and to help in customer management for future flights in the Emirates. They will also act as a bridge between the two collaborators.

Off to space, we go!
