If you have wanted to try acting, Mohammad Masharqa is leading an introductory workshop at Sharjah’s Photography Gallery on 7 November 2026, from 11am to 2pm. The session is in Arabic and open to adults aged 21 and over.
What you will practise
The workshop focuses on observing everyday life, using imagination and being present in a performance. You do not need previous acting experience.
That makes it a way to explore the basics before deciding whether you want to take acting further. Masharqa is a theatre artist and actor, and a founding member of Ward Theatre Company.

The session is part of the foundation’s Perform Sharjah programme. It is free, and materials are provided.
