If the Butterfly House is the main reason for your Al Noor Island visit, make it your first stop. The operator lists its hours as 9am–6pm daily, while the island itself stays open later. An evening-only arrival could miss the part you most wanted to see.
Choose a pass that includes the Butterfly House
The official Standard Pass is listed at AED50 for adults and AED30 for children. It includes island entry and a self-guided Butterfly House visit with an educator. Check the booking details for your chosen date and child eligibility before paying.
Rather than trying to photograph every butterfly, give yourself a small observation challenge: look for one wing pattern, then watch how the butterfly moves when it lands. For children, that can be a useful starting point for a question to the educator.
Leave the illuminated walk for later
The island’s lighting programme includes illuminated sculptures, landscape features and lanterns by the water. That makes the evening walk a separate part of the outing, after the Butterfly House.
Our planning suggestion: decide which experience matters most before choosing your arrival time. If you want both, allow a comfortable gap before the Butterfly House closes rather than arriving at its final hour. The later island closing time is not an extension of the butterfly visit.
