HERE COMES FOOTBALL SEASON!
With two months to go until Arab Cup Qatar 2021, FIFA announced the tickets for football fans will be going up on sale tomorrow, September 28th!
Qatar is set to introduce two new stadiums to be played at during the 2022 World Cup, along with the other six stadiums across the country.
Al Bayt Stadium will be hosting the opening and final matches of the season with a capacity of around 60,000 fans.
While Ras Abu Aboud Stadium will still be used for the games with 40,000 capacity, it will be demolished at the end of World Cup 2022. This is quite amusing considering it will be the first stadium to be entirely disassembled in FIFA World Cup history!
The match tickets will be going live starting 12:00 AST/11:00 CET/1 PM UAE time on FIFA’s official website HERE!
The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy in Qatar also introduced the decision to implement a fan card system during the Arab Cup, which ticket holders will need to get access into the stadiums. This smart ID card will also give fans free public transport on match days! So, do make sure yo apply for a fan card once you’ve paid for the tickets and received an email mentioning your purchase order number.
The Arab Cup 2021 is begin from November 30th to December 18th with 16 teams taking part including the host country, Qatar, Iraq, Oman, Bahrain, Tunisia, UAE, Syria, Mauritania, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Palestine, Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon and Sudan.
