Planning an outing in Al Khan? Sharjah Aquarium and Sharjah Maritime Museum share a joint ticket, so you can combine underwater life and the emirate’s maritime history in one visit.
What does the joint ticket cost?
The Aquarium’s official visitor page lists AED25 for adults aged 13 and above and AED15 for children aged 2–12. Children under two enter free. Sharjah Museums Authority says the joint ticket is available at the museums.
Two ways to explore the sea
The Aquarium is next to the Maritime Museum in Al Khan Old area. Its exhibits introduce marine life including clownfish, seahorses and rays. The Maritime Museum adds the human history of Sharjah’s relationship with the sea, as described in the authority’s joint-ticket visitor guide.
Try giving each stop a different question: which creature caught your attention at the Aquarium, and what did you learn about life connected to the sea at the museum? That gives a family visit a little focus without turning it into homework.
Confirm the hours before setting off
The authority’s venue page and FAQ currently disagree about some Aquarium hours, including Friday opening and Sunday access. Confirm directly with the museums for your chosen day before travelling; do not assume both venues follow the same timetable.
